Preach it!

Our Global Action class in Tactic just got through the course on preaching. As part of the course, we invited friends and family members to come, and we hosted a mini service at our house. We had a worship band, and then had each student preach for no more than fifteen minutes (we did this over two weeks so the sermon part wouldn't be too long for the listeners).
Denis was really nervous to go in front, which surprised me, since he's a successful businessman. But he did a great job on his first sermon! He sells fruit in bulk to smaller vendors (stores, people who resell, market sellers). We've known Denis since he was a kid! He's had his ups and downs in life, but his desire to grow in the Lord and to do things correctly is such a testament of God's work in him.
Recently, we attended his wedding. He and his wife want to honor the Lord and be an example for their children, who were part of the wedding party. We love having Denis as part of our lives.
