God already knows.

In January we started a new Global Action group upstairs in our home. We have a meeting room up there that we built several years ago, back when we were hosting interns, and this year God gave us a new reason to use it.

We'd been seeing a need: young Christians who wanted a place to go deeper, learn the basics of theology, study God's Word, and ask their questions out loud. When it wasn't possible to host the group through our church, we realized the perfect space had been sitting right upstairs the whole time.

We now have 15 students who come regularly to study. Most are young Christians from our own church, though a few come from other churches too. Many are already serving as cell group or youth leaders, or sense God calling them toward leadership.

I love hearing their questions. One student, a young man who just graduated from high school, may actually ask the hardest questions of anyone! 😂 Another wasn't sure he'd enjoy the course at all, and has been surprised by how much there still is to learn about God and His Word.

When you open your home to something like this, you never know who's going to walk through the door. But God knows.

We're excited to see who He brings into our home over these next nine months, and what He's going to teach all of us along the way.

The privilege of praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ is a blessing.
