Encouraging married couples

We were invited to speak to the couples at a Nazarene church in a nearby town. We really do believe that strong families start with two people who choose God first, and then choose each other every day. Every marriage is different, and every marriage faces challenges, but God knows it all, and when we come to Him, He can and does help us.
It was a privilege to spend some time encouraging these couples and reminding them that God cares about their marriages and their families.
We gave each couple a rose and a chocolate. The wives went first, each one sharing something she loved about her husband before handing him the chocolate. Then the husbands took their turn, each speaking something romantic to his wife as he gave her the rose.
