Because our house sits right on the edge of the mountain, that closeness has pulled us into people's lives in ways we didn't plan for.

We headed back to Nuevo Amanecer, and what an adventure it was! The road, the hike, the people, and the beautiful reminder that God is at work even in the most remote places. June was busy! We finished up studying Finances God's way with the Purulah group! And started a new group in Tactic! A good size croud is coming out on Tuesday nights to understand what God says about finances! Walter was invited to officiate at his brother and his wife's vow renewal for their 30th anniversary. We traveled to the top of the world to celebrate a quinceañera! (Turning 15 is an important birthday for girls here) And of course, we took turns holding a baby so the mom could enjoy her lunch.

We said goodbye to our latest interns and prayed for them at church before they left. Having them here in our home definitely meant never having a quiet moment. From watching them film TikToks and do stretching exercises in the yard, to talking about God and what He wants to do in their lives, studying Spanish, and having game nights, life was never boring.
